The idea of my Travel Agency, "Eat Sip'n Dip LLC" was brought to life in the year 2020, during COVID. I had lost more than 14 family members, including the family of family members that I loved dearly. Three of those Fourteen family members were eulogized together and it was at that moment, watching the painful tears fall and watching the heartbreaking service that I began to think of my age and how many things I had yet to experience. Though these family members had live well beyond my age and had experienced many milestone events in their lives, I realized I was at least at the half-way point to end of my journey and that was not promised.

Prior to COVID, I had planned, along with about 15 family & friends, to travel to Dubai and we were to leave May 2020 for Dubai. It all fell to pieces when they announced the shutdown of travel among other things. I began speaking to friends and family more often and planning trips in my head, not knowing what the future held. I had built a website for all of the Dubai travelers to be able to have a site to view our itinerary and to make payments to our travel agent, Freddie of Fantastic Journeys. It was going to be the "Taurus" event of the year. I was celebrating my 50th birthday and my Sisters-In-Love were also turning 60 & 63. Bringing up the rear was my daughter, who is also a Taurus and she was turning 22.

Fast-Forward to getting back to some semblance of normalcy, everyone was getting back into the swing of things. My youngest daughter had to move home from college and was deeply depressed because she had just started loving her college experience. We allowed her to move into our empty home that we had began fixing up for a tenant after purchasing our new home we had built. The build was completed in December 2019, so needless to say, COVID was knocking at the door. However, it was a great alternative for her, though it was a bit of a drive to school for her. That did not last long because they would eventually put classes online.

After things got back to normal, if I can call it that, Hubby is now back in the office some days and school is going full steam ahead. Since I have been a stay-at-home mother, primarily because my oldest son is Autistic and my husband and I decided I would focus on his needs to get him engrained in social life and beyond, I had many milestones and obstacles that were well worth the sweat and tears.

My eldest daughter is already working in her career after graduating college. And yes, my son, who doctors said would never drive or attend college, has been driving since the age of 17 and has his Bachelors Degree. I began to think, when my youngest graduates, what am I truly looking at for myself. Just then, the phone rang and it was my daughter asking me to plan a trip for her and her sorority sisters. I got right on it and called my travel agent, Freddie.

It was in that moment on the call that I realized, I had already been doing this my entire life. I just was not getting paid for it. Because I already hold an MBA and help build an entire business around a Sport Patent, was an author and had began a book series, I had all the ground work done. Of course it would take some tweaking but I hit the ground running and started my own Travel Agency, "Eat Sip'n Dip LLC." I am currently becoming certified in the field of travel and hold the IATA and CLIA credentials to book your travel.

Thinking back on being 53 and counting, remember I said, I am at least half-way to the finish line of life but that is not promised? Well, I chose Travel Agency as my profession because I believe that life is made up of a series of experiences. The premise to how I approach life is being intentional in living, which has a pertinent pre-requisite. That pre-requisite is planning. My truest intention is Living this life to the fullest in preparation to die a good death! Traveling has afforded me the opportunity to do just that. Let me help you flourish and become a viable inclusion into the culture and fabric of a travel. All you have to do is be willing to remove the grit that reveals the pearl.

THIS WILL DEFINITELY BE A BUCKET LIST PRODUCTION YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS!!!
